Akashics are difficult to find in the mid-west although not as bad as the Batini. Many Akashics came over with the Chinese and Korean immigrants 50 years ago and many have settled in the country. At this point in time there are new Akashics in town, there have been some that have moved through the area and carried information of the city to other Akashics. It is rumored that there has been talk of creating an Akashic Chantry in the area but no one has ever seen any truth to that rumor. If there is a hidden training compound somewhere no Mages in the Red Campus have any information about it. New characters may be Akashics seeking out rumors of a hidden Akashic stronghold in the area. They could also be a wandering mystic or a protector of their people coming to this area to fight for freedom.
