No one tradition in the area has lost as much as the Dreamspeakers. The Verbena think that they discovered the Broken Wing node; but, the Dreamspeakers know the truth. The Valley had been a powerful space of communion for the vision seekers and shamans of the tradition (although at that time they claimed no such term). Unfortunately memories of the valley's history seem to become muddled and soon there may be none left at all. The only survivor of the Broken Wing massacre, Shrouded Owl, has no memory of the events that night; however, he has called upon spirit allies of his to seek out other Speakers and bring them to the area. New characters may be those that answer this call. Alternatively they may just be seeking out the Broken Wing Valley as a holy place and stumble upon the mystery of what has occurred. Rarer still there is a chance that the a newly awakened Mage may feel the call of the spirits and find their way to the Shrouded Owl.
