There are very few kumpanias in the new world. The ones that have arrived on these shores are in flux. A new breed of gypsy is being born as the automobile becomes a mainstay of American life. Foregoing there traditional horse and carts, buses and large trucks have become a staple in their travel. The Ravnos have followed this example and the growing pains of change, coupled with the flux of neonates butting head with their elders, has caused a new kumpania to take up travel through the Midwest. This large caravan has only stopped in Columbia once, and the city still shudders to think of it coming back anytime soon.
